Our Chinese name is 格湛. 格 (gé) carries the senses of correcting and putting right, of investigating a thing until its principle is understood, and — more plainly — of style and character. 湛 (zhàn) means both refined and clear: deep without being murky.

GoldErr is Gold plus Err. A golden error — a mistake worth having. A mistake has no value in itself; a mistake you went back and examined does. That is where the company name came from, and where DrLearn started.
